here are the explanations of the catagories
LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and

keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and

emphasize what they describe as "practical" solutions to problems.

Right (Conservative)
Conservatives tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently

support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates "traditional

values." They oppose excessive government control of business, while

endorsing government action to defend morality and the traditional

family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong military,

oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market economy,

and endorse strong law enforcement.

Statist (Big Government)
Statists want government to have a great deal of power over the

economy and individual behavior. They frequently doubt whether

economic liberty and individual freedom are practical options in

today's world. Statists tend to distrust the free market, support

high taxes and centralized planning of the economy, oppose

diverse lifestyles, and question the importance of civil liberties

oh no problem with it at all. you obviously think the government is smarter than yourself and would rather have them tell you just how to live.. thats fine no problem with it at all. your very rare though i believe or i would hope. I believe i can and will make the right choices, you dont thats fine. how about if and when they say you shouldnt have guns because we think everyone is safer without guns . do you even believe in free speech?

That's what makes America, America. Why should I have a different belief just because you say so? Typical Democrat.
As far as trusting myself or having confidence in my beliefs, I was a Ranger for 4 years (graduation at the top of my Ranger class) then 10th Special Forces Group for the remainder of my service. I believe I have more trust/confidence in myself and my belief system than anyone I've evver met.......on or off the internet.

So stop with the cheap shots.

wait a minute, i see no cheap shots here. with a 10% score you obviously do not believe in freedoms, thats fine, your opinion.you must think the govt is smart enough to make all your decisions for you. dont take it so personal. by the way i am no democrat, that is a cheap shot . i personally dont want no old man in the senate telling me how to live my life, you think thats ok and i have no problem with that. that is what america is about tolerance. you think the govt should censor speech etc and i dont. its a matter of difference of opinions. i dont think i took any cheap shots at you.

Freedom, I'd back off of it if I were you. In my opinion, the survey was too limited to give an honest feel for someone's beliefs. I marked 'maybe' on most of my replies because I felt the questions was to general. Although I didn't record my scores, the survey says I am a strong Liberitarian (almost as strong as you). I will probably never vote for a Liberitarian candidate because I feel they have no chance to win.

The survey was cute & fun, but I don't consider it a strong indication of ones beliefs. Besides, where were the spots for Communists, anarchists, or even Green party & Confederates?

Did y'all read the description of a conservative on that page? I'm gonna smack the next person I hear call George W. or any of them D.C. Republicans a conservative. Them a'holes have spent more money than Klinton did and the only business they favor are big corporations.
