“Where does the animal rights movement stand on abortion?” There are people on both sides of the abortion issue in the animal rights movement, just as there are people on both sides of animal rights issues in the pro-life movement. And just as the pro-life movement has no official position on animal rights, the animal rights movement has no official position on abortion. what i don't understand is why they are split when all peta members are pro animal life.

These are people that are fraught with emotion. Their ability to think logically, hence their inability to take a stand on abortion. To me it would seem that a an animal rights activist would be pro-life by default. If you are against "harming" any animal no matter what the reason you be against harming a growing human.

i know i know......that's what i think too....they just piss me off beyond belief.....the site was also sayin' that the monies from huntin' licenses don't make up fo squat and is just a line of defense that we use to make others think it helps.....#$%#$%^&*()!!!!!!
