I thought I would just post an update on this. the 10 Commandments are back in the Alabama Judicial building. There is a big difference this time. They are displayed alongside other documents that give root to American law. I will also add what I saw of the display looked tastefully done unlike Roy Moore's granite ediface to God. I have no problem with this version ans I had a huge problem with the other.
Moore's trial still continues and he still continues to make an arse out of himself everytime he opens his mouth. I don't see where he has a leg to stand on anyway. He was given a court order and he violated it, therefore he got canned.
And in related news last month one of Moore's supporters introduced a bill in congregress that would prohibit the Supreme Court from hearing any case that is sought against an element of Federal, State, or local government, or against an officer of Federal, State, or local government (whether or not acting in official personal capacity), by reason of that element's or officer's acknowledgement of God as the sovereign source of law, liberty, or government. HR 3799 if you want to look it up. I don't think I even need to go into detail on my feelings about this one.

They are displayed alongside other documents that give root to American law. They have been doing this for years in Glynn Co. Georgia. We had a battle over displaying the Commandments in School & other public buildings & it was found to be legal to display it along with other historical law documents. Our display includes the 10 Commandments, Magna Carta, Declaration of Independance, Bill of Rights & The Brunswick city charter. Now, every school & public building has this display. Note: The business leaders of the community bought & paid for each of these displays.
