Hey thanks guys. I have been lurking for a while and decided to step up. I live in Atlanta Ga and hunt in North GA. I have been hunting for about 4 years now. I hunt with a winchester classic featherweight in 280 Cal. or PSE Firestorm. I have shot a few deer with the winchester but nothing yet with the bow.
This is a great web site. I enjoy reading al of the hunting stories and everything else.

Nice to have you here. What particular part of north Georgia do you hunt? I've hunted some in the mountains near Clayton & Warwoman.

I have a friend that has an 600 acre farm just west of Cartersville. Real close to Pine Log WMA. He lets me and a buddy hunt there. It has mountains, planted pines, hay feilds and a nice stream with seven springs in it. It is an awesome place to hunt. Hogs, turkeys and plenty of deer. Last year the two of us took nine total deer from there. I was in a club in East GA near Washington but the $1000.00 membership is kinda high when I can hunt for free.
I will be up there this week trying to get one with the bow.
