Do you know the Bible?

you know, sometimes it hard what to believe, when it comes to the bible..

for instance... in the old testament..there is a verse that says parents have the right to stone to death an unrulely child

also in another verse of the old testament it says that any man with long hair should be banished or ostrisized (sp?) from the community... now I don't know who painted the first portrait of Jesus, but every pic I have ever seen of him..he was wearing long hair..

now we can't pick and choose what we want to believe in the bible..either you believe in all of it or none of it at all..

there are alot more verses that to me make no sense or whould be against the law if we followed them.

The Old Testament was before Jesus died for our sins. God knowed we couldnt be perfect like the Old Testament want so he sent his son to die for us. What I beleive in is to follow as close as possible to the 10 Commandments and beleive in Jesus. There are a lot of puzzling scriptures in the Bible.
