Well bear season opened in game zone 1 this past Monday. A friend of mine killed a 450# bear with his bow about 8:00 o'clock this morning near Mt. Rest, SC. The DNR fellow that weighed and checked it in says he thinks that it's the biggest one to be taken in the state with a bow.

Thats cool. I wish there were enough around this part to hunt. Maybe they will migrate down this way the next couple years.
