As y'all know from the other thread we will be allowed to hunt with a Xbow the whole archery season if we want to, and I was just wondering how it would change the way you hunt.

As long as I can still draw my bow that's all I'll hunt with.The X bow doesn't offer me anything over a compound,I also find them heavy and noisy.The ones I've heard sound like 22's when fired.

Ill go with the bow unless my shoulder gets too bad to use one.

The law was passed here in Va. last year and I am sticking with my compound. There is no real advantage and Blue is right, they are heavey and noisey. At work I have shot the Parkers, Hortons, Ten Points, and Excalibers. The Excaliber is, in my oppinion,the best, but, it just like shooting a gun with less range. There is NO bow shooting skill at all.
