Tomorrow is the start of a brand new season.
The field points have been replaced by broadheads in the quiver,camo is being descented as I speak.I can't make the opener but we are going for two days this weekend.It'll be a combo camp work detail and a little hunting in the mornings.The weather is just right to hunt,only in the mid forties this week.

MID FORTIES!!!?? Man. We dont see that until the end of November. Sometimes January.
OUr opener will probally be in the uppeer 80's.

Man, I thought the southern states had long seasons. Georgia still has a month till bow season.

Buddy just threw a hitch into our plans  .He has to back out due to financial reasons.I'm going to twist his arm though,we need to get in a butt load of firewood for our upcoming ten day hunt and a few other chores that I don't want to be bothered with while I'm up there to hunt.We need to replace the game poles and shore up the frame for the wall tent.All minor details but they need doing. |

Nitro,I can't wait!
7 days and a wake-up and I'm gone for 10 fun filled days of huntin,fishin and a few beverages ;D.
It'll be just a deer hunt as I can't take a bull elk this year as I was drawn for cow elk and it doesn't open for archery on them till mid Sept.We can take any mule deer or white tail we see,2 white-tails,buck and a doe.
