When you practice or tune your broadheads do you change the blades before hunting or do you use the same blades? I practice with one set of blades then change them before hunting although I do shoot once or twice with the hunting blades just to make sure the bh lines back up right.

I just change the blades. I use the muzzy practice blades most of the time.

I tune and replace the blades. If it's shot EVER again it's at game and the blade is changed, hit or miss. Heck, if I drop one out of a tree by accident I change the inserts.

I very seldom Practice with my Broadheads, they blow big hole`s in my Target Bag,but when I do,it`s the day before the hunt, and I use the Practice Blade`s that Muzzy puts in the box. I use 100gn Target Tip`s and 100gn 3 Blade Muzzy Broadhead`s,and the Broadhead`s only drop an inch at 30 yrds,so I just put my pin a touch higher on the Critter

I practice with the practice blades......I have shot the real blades to make sure they fly the same but that's all.
I never hunt with a broadhead I have shot before....I always replace the blades.
BTW, my fields points fly the same as my muzzy broadheads.........
