Wasnt sure about posting this, but I feel like most of yall are friends. I scheduled a surgery for 6-21 earlier today. Not sure when Ill be back on after it.
Ive had a high hernia/acid reflux since I was in high school. Up until now meds have taken care of it. Since around the end of deer season Ive been waking up choking with the acid in my lungs. Finally went to the doctor.... Its gonna be laproscopic so he said Id have to stay over night. Im sure ill check in with the laptop anyways...

Hopefully all goes well, and you wont have to deal with that anymore. Thats a "routine" surgery anymore, isnt it? Dont sweat it, things will go fine.

More wonderful news. Yesterday when I took all the paper work to the plant nurse she informed me that Pfizer's HQ has determined that they are only going to give me 10 days pay for the 4-5 weeks Im going to be out. They have a chart with how much paid leave you get for what surgeries... Also went to the dentist after work yesterday for an abscess and they are going to do a root canal tuesday.....
So Ive been working damn near every day off for 3 months just to be lucky to break even BEFORE I start getting bills for the surgery.

Not sure. I already had it scheduled so Its probably too late. The surgeon called and wants to do it tomorrow, so I may go ahead and get it over.
