Well I got back from Miami today and need someone to tell me when the southern half of our state was taken over by forigners and yankees. It was bad enough tha FSU lost to Miami again but I had to go 4 day without seeing a native Floridian, maybe one or two that came down for the game. Hell I couldn't even find a resteraunt that serves sweet tea, thats just unamerican. FLH next time you come north of Ocala how about bringing the state and american flag with you and we will just call everything south of Ocala a new country cause it sure as hell ain't Florida anymore.

Dude where you been? Y'all lost that part of Florida back in the 80's when I was still a hardcore surfer. I couldn't get sweet tea in Daytona in '84. I mourn your loss with you. There is still some beautiful country down there.

Well I had heard about it but until you see it for yourself you don't realize how bad it is, kind of like a train wreck.

Nothing against Yankees or forigners but damn I didn't think they would do away with everything southern when they moved in. Maybe we ought to move up north and do away with bagles and cream of wheat and make em start eating real food, doughnuts and grits. ;D

Read a book once called 'Having It Y'all'. It was a comical look at life in the south. When describing where the south was it declared Florida was NOT part of the south. There were 2 indicators so as to determine if you were in fact in the south. One was if you could purchase sweet tea at a resturaunt (called the sweet tea line). The other was if you could purchase grits at a resturaunt (called the grits line).
