I was just thinking... My Browning A-Bolt .260 sounds like it has sand in the stock. I bought it new in the box so I know it wasnt added after the fact. Have yall ever seen anything like that?

It may be silica,what they use to absorb moisture,but it shouldn't be in the stock.

Might be. If it is it isnt in the lil bags like it usually is. I guess Ill never know, Im too lazy to take the gun apart. Especially since it shoots halfway decent. It sounds like it is only in the butt not the forend.
