I know, I'm a little late as far as the season goes but my Father's Day gift was a Colorado State and Fort Carson fishing permit. We left at 5 am this morning to go fishing here on base at one of the five lakes located here. I managed to catch two fairly decent sized largemouth and one 14 inch brown trout. Take a look....

DS11, yesterday was the first time I've ever caught a trout. I'm originally from Northeastern Kentucky where we don't have a lot of trout, if any. I understand the trout and salmon are really prevelant here in Colorado. I'm going fishing again tomorrow morning so I'll let you know what I catch. It may be just a good opportunity to drown some worms.
