Sorry....need to "pre-frame" the trip.
My buddy just bought a new 24 foot BlueWave center console and this will be the maiden voyage.
2 live wells, a 50 quart cooler and a bait well.....nice boat.

I fished lake Texoma when i was stationed up at Sheppard AFB. Great fishing in that place.

WE HAMMERED EM!!
It was one of the most successful trips I've ever had.
We looked for baitfish to net most of the day yesterday and pretty much gave up.
We went back to the cabin and took a nap. Got up bout 5 pm and started the beer ritual.
Hit the lake at 6 and looked again for bait......NOTHING!
About 7:30, the water around us started to boil! In about 2 or 3 minutes, the water across the lake was in a boiling frenzy. Wildest thing I have ever seen.
We were not even putting fish in the live wells. We were just throwing them in the bottom of the boat. This went on for about 45 minutes and then stopped as fast as it started.
Between 4 of us, we ended up with 27 stripers. We threw 6 back that were too small.
