Ive done similar off piers on the ocean and fishing for bream to use at bait. Works pretty good for the purposes Ive used it for. Have had many multiple catches.

Same here, have done about the samething fishing for perch. Two #6 hooks and emerald shiners for bait. It works great What is nice about this rig is that sometimes when you catch one fish if you don't reel in sometimes a perch will hit the other bait. ------- [glow=red,2,300]Double[/glow]  |

I've used it for yellow perch in the river for years. I just ried it with soft plastics for bass in the last few years. I've only caught one bass so far with it.

I used it last summer fishin in a local pond for bass, it worked for me.
