Here is a pic of MY first 'yote in a snare. The colors on this 'yote are great. This is a male, weighed in at 43 pounds. He was snared about 100 yards from where the last one I posted was snared.

how many have you taken so far Buck? I've only seen one this year...about half that size and I wasn't armed at the time..BUT i hear them about every evening yelping/howling thing they do. What kind of snare do you use?

Mud, we have hit a standstill lately. Had a few misses, and a few pull-outs. We just got 2 feet of new snow Monday. Went out and they have trails everywhere now. Set another dozen today, so hopefully I'll have something to skin soon. I got my snares from www.snareshop.com . Excellent quality snares, but the new MI regulations are keeping me from getting more. They have put so many restrictions on how the snares can be set, and how they have to be built, that its almost not worth trying. I'll keep plugging away, they have no idea how bull headed I am.
