Whats the most you've ever killed in one day? Twelve is the most for me. 7 out of one hickory in a morning hunt and 5 that evening out of a oak.

20 I think. They used to be so many here it wasnt funny. We killed them more for the problems they caused than hunting them. The power used to go out a couple times a week cause they blew transformers.

Our limit is six per hunt and twelve in possession per day. I just opened uo on them in the hickory that morning and when the shooting was over while I was picking them up the seventh one fell out.

Here in Missouri it is 6 Daily Limit, bunch try going out getting their 12 Possession Limit. They get caught every once in awhile get the something Fined out of them. Plus Agent here don't need a Warrant to search your Freezer. oneshot

In a sense it was poaching and I'll take the blame for that. BUT I only fired six shots. I always carry just twelve shells for the single shot twelve guage that I hunt with and I had six left....I must have got two with one shot. I brought all seven out of the woods and would have accepted the fines and penalties had I been stopped. As for the twelve in one day I took two different hunts that day. One in the morning and one that evening. Our limit is six per hunt......not six per day. Me or you one dont understand where the other one is coming from but I certainly dont appreciate being called a poacher.

I'm not going to argue about it. I did take seven so thats it. So just tell me what you would have done if you killed seven with six shots? If I had shot seven times and they all fell out when I shot I could understand your point. But I only shot six times and the seventh one fell out when I was picking them up.

I speed on the way to work daily, even if its just going 60 in a 55... deerslayer I really have a bad time with anyone as far as Game Laws.Because I turned a couple Guys in for taking Frogs out of Season, they was bragging on it,I told them just to shut up and we wouldn't have no problem. They were caught it cost them $80 apiece. They turned around and killed my Hunting Dogs.I sued them cost them plenty. But it was just the idea they could do this to something I cared so much for. Now as far as this I think its pretty bad for a Administrator of this Forum bragging about breaking Game Laws. What is this to say to other People on this Forum? And by the way 10 Daily is the limit on Squirrels in your area. oneshot

i'm sure if a DNR officer would have ran into nitro, and he told him the same story, there would have been no fine.....accidents happen. (dude, use a .22 for squirrels ) and in d'slayer's, nuisance control is another story. if there is a raccoon trying to set up shop in my shed, its getting killed, season or not. oneshot, in your original post about "poachers" i don't blame you a bit for turning those guys in, but on the internet, one can't always tell the truth from a "tall tale". you might try to keep that in mind before you go calling people poachers. i've been on here quite awhile, and wouldn't hesitate to hunt with either of these two men.

I just really find it hard to believe that anyone on a Hunting Forum would even think of condoning the breaking of any game law.Much less bragging about it oneshot

Oneshot, I honestly hate the deal about your dogs and can understand your point about poachers. This was atleast fifteen years ago and to be honest I've probably not been squirrel hunting in ten years now. I appreciate your input on this and honestly hate the fact that you look at me as a poacher. I think if you got a chance to know me you would find that I'm a very ethical hunter and care alot about the game I hunt.

Hate it about your dogs, but you cant judge a man by his past. Especially something accidental. Unlike Nitro I dont mind it though. If that was the only fault I had i would be doing good.
