Went out this morning to try and decrease the gopher population ;D. My friends family owns 11 quarters of conservancy land just west of where I live.It can't be developed or put under the plow and is prime for shooting gophers. We decided to handi cap ourselves and took out the 94's sans the scopes. What a blast! We probably only killed a 100 or so but you had to pick your shots. My longest kill was aprox. a 100 yards.Been a long time since I shot iron sights but I haven't forgot how.

We can shoot on the land as far as you can see in this pic.It is also prime mule deer habitat and there are some elk and moose but only by draw can you hunt them.
