I use to like running them with beagles they would almost always run them in a big circle to meet ole #6 load from my 12 ga

Bro......I love a rabbit dinner.
I don't actually "hunt" for them but if we jump one up while hunting quail or pheasant, we toast em. We usually pop 3 or 4 every time we go out. I had a freezer full of them 2 years ago. We had rabbit every way there was to eat it it seems like.

i love fried wabbit but only one i've ever shot i had to shoot like a dozen times....it was a bionic bunny from hell or something...kinda turned me from wantin' to hunt them but i will...i'll just bring a shotgun or muzzleloader...lol. ;D

We don't go out just to hunt rabbit like H4F1 said either,but sure like bustin caps on em when the dogs get one up. ;D.We got the big snowshoe hares up here that aren't too bad to eat and tons of jack rabbits that we leave for the foxes and yotes.

it's what we started out hunting as a kid..them and tree rrats..my little brother and myself use to build rabbit boxes and looked forward to that time of year to set them..
haven't heard a good pack of dogs on a rabbit in ages....man you gotta love that sound

I have to drive about 80 miles to do any good Rabbit hunting,so I don't go anymore.Use to love it.
