Was out scouting for a white tail buck for my nephew last night, rifle opens on thursday.I saw a small herd of mule deer and one stuck out like a sore thumb, wasn't sure if I was actually seeing a white deer.Turns out it was a small fork horn buck. It's the first one I've ever seen and pretty rare up here I've heard.I was abe to get within a 100 yards of him but not close enough to get a pic.Going out again today to see if we can find him, buddy has a good camera with a telephoto lens.Never saw a white tail but saw a pile of mule deer, one was a huge 4x4 that would look good on my wall ;D,maybe next year.

I have never seen a white one here, just calico ones.

He looked like this mule deer buck but with smaller antlers. I don't know where this pic was taken.
