This has to be one of the worst starts to deer season I can remember. It was pretty much in the 90's all of Sept and it ain't cooled down much (88 tomorrow) On top of that a lot of deer are dying from E.H.D. or as we call it Blue Tongue, which is caused by the severe drought we're in. Some kind of skeeter or something gets in their nose and causes the disease. This is from them drinking from stagnant water. I don't think we even have any of that left! The wildlife dept. says the disease will be over as soon as we get our first frost, but who knows when that will be? BTW, I'm hitting the woods in the morning. ;D
