I shot at a decent 8 this afternoon. Couldnt find any blood. Im positive I hit it. I think with the angle I was shooting the ML didnt punch though and blood didnt happen?

Looks like there should have been blood from the entry wound, unless you mean it didn't punch through at all?

Both deer I shot last week were quartering away shots taking out only one lung,leaving no blood trails.The mule deer went 25 yards and lay down,the white tail went 40 yards and keeled over dead.
A few years back I took the same shot on a white tail buck,he left me no sign ,I knew I hit him.Even with snow on the ground there wasn't much to follow but tracks.I found him piled up dead 200 yards from where I shot him.

Was about 90 yds with the muzzle loader. Missed another buck with the bow this Am after seeing 9 bucks 2 does an unsure deer and coyote in the last 2 days... 2 of the bucks were nice...
