live and in person. and it is truly a monster. the sheds and past pics of the deer don't do it justice. iowa artist larry zach, who has images of this deer in a few of his paintings, held an open house last weekend and had the rack on display. the youth hunter tony lovstuen, and his father doug were also there to answer questions. security was high, as they have signed an exclusive deal with north american whitetail magazine )january/feb issue) for the first shot to show the pictures and tell the story. iowa game and fish will be running a story shortly afer ( as i'm sure many more will follow). also the outdoor channel will be running some pics. keep your eyes peeled, it is worth the look.

oh hell no. no way dude. they had some cops volenteer to do security, they ran the metal detector over every body, looking for cameras...no cell phones either (camera phones). that exclusive contract with north american whitetail means no pics until they release them. not to sure when the january issue hits the stands, i would guess some time early to middle of next month......i can't wait

the sheds don't compare to the mass it carried this year. i have just heard the the rack has dried enough to be officially scored, it dried out to 319 4/8. making it the biggest deer ever taken by a hunter. (hole in the horn, and missouri monarch were found dead)

the score i posted earlier was official. the rack will go to a panel of boone and crockett scorers at the cabela's in kansas city to be officially scored. or actually they will review the score that was just done,
