Rain? Fog? During a certain stage of the moon? Specific wind speed or direction? Temperature range? Drastic changes of weather?
What seems to make the deer move in your area (besides the rut)?
I seem to see more activity on foggy mornings. Maybe its the damp air. Maybe it's the increased cover due to decreased visibility. I don't know. Just an observation.

In a heavily hunted National Forest I see more movement around noon.
Weather is very dependent though as I know of some beds the deer only lay on with aproaching storms. Also with heavy winds that keep them close/bedded down the second or so day in the evening seems good.
I realize what I see here are not "wild" deer but deer that deal with humans. Heck I have a heard of 4 nocturnal does in my yard that needs disposing of.

I dont see many durring fog. I do like to hunt in moderate winds though, Ive killed my best bucks when it was fairly windy.

light drizzle and usually see most of mine either real early and/or between 11-2.
