i used to think a lot of you southern boys when it came to hunting but shooting doe,thats bad.we only shoot does with our kids the first year here in pa. we only shoot big bucks ,3 points on 1 side is the law here.where are all the hunters down there?dont tell me we are better hunters than you folk down there, thats hard for me to believe but after reading the posts on here ,i hope thats not all the hunters in south.i was very surprised that southern boys would kill a female deer. then brag about it with pictures and degrading stories of how . thats disgusting.boy, i was sure surprised when i read these posts.  |

you have every right to feel the way you do and to hunt the way you choose.....taking does are just part of the whole scheme of things...for alot of reasons.
there's nothing wrong with being proud of taking a doe or any other animal which is legal and going to be eaten.
every kill should make you proud.....as long as it was ethical and legal then there's nothing to be ashamed of.

I would have said the same thing if I had killed a buck, If you think you are a better hunter I am sure we could meet in a state neither of us knows and find out? The man whos farm I was on wants all deer regardless of sex dead. And Im just the man for the job.
People that think killing does is bad is the reason the damn things are getting stunted and there are no good racks around here anymore. Its not good when you have 45 deer per square mile and 44 of them are female.
