...one of the big time TV/video hunters/fishermen try to find their own spots to hunt & fish? I'm sure Ted could do it & maybe Waddell hasn't lost his roots, but Bushman, Barta, etc would probably get soooooo lost in a planted pine forest.

I think Jackie would do OK. Waddel would. The one I wouldnt put money on is his Boss. He wasnt a hunter before the TV show.

Even better I would like to see them pile up in the back of a truck with a shotgun and go on a hound hunt with us one Saturday.

I don't have a doubt that Michael Waddell could probably do it given enough time, he does seem to have a pretty good hunting ability.
I have my doubts of some of the other "tv" hunters.

Don't know about hunting, but as far as fishing goes
....I'd just follow the guys in the SCUBA gear when they go out and put those 12lb bass on Roland Martins' lure.
