Keep in mind how much traveling you would have to do and the sacrifices you would have to make. I think that is one of the few if not the only job I would have that I would relocate my family for.

I would join on with Primos. I really don't know if I would with some of the others.

Id like to be Micheal Waddel's co-star. He seems like the "realest" person to me.

I have a family that I'd hate to spend a lot of time away from. I'd have to know how much travel would be required. Also, money is a real issue. All the dream hunts in the world won't pay the mortgage.
I do have a Brother-in-law that videos for Muzzy & Matthews. He mostly shoots close to home with maybe 4-6 weekends of major travel. He gets paid if they use the footage in a commercial or promotional video. He mostly does it for fun, but it does pay a little bit. (plus he gets a new Matthews every year & all the broadheads he needs for free).

Im going to have to start taking the camera again. Both deer I killed this year would have made great footage. I make good money now, but I wouldnt hesitate to drop 20k of it a year to hunt for a living. Assuming the hunts and travel are paid for. Joe Kelly (local guy that used to do videos) told me he looked into doing a TV show on the OutDoor Channel and it was $50k per episode. You have to have some MAJOR sponsors for that. If I could figure out how to get the sponsors for one show Id do it.

I was watching a show a couple hours ago on The Sportsman Channel, I can't think of the name of them but these guys showed how they made their first video and sent it to all kinds of companys. When they first started they said that they got some small sponsors and the funds were just trickling in and then one day they got a call from Diamond bows which I think are made by Bowtech and that was the major sponsor they were looking for. The entire staff got bows and and they were pretty excited about the money they got out of the deal. Just guessing I would say that starting out it would be possible to get a show or two on The Sportsman Channel. It's fairly new and I've seen some shows on there that I know could be done better.
So I'll be looking for " Southern Hunting" with everyones favorite southern hunter deerslayer11 next year on The Sportsman Channel. Just put me on the prostaff when you get things lined out. ;D

As for getting the sponsors the above post explained that......send every company you can think of that would possibly put a little cash towards something like that a video......who knows, you could even be discovered by some of the big names. I use to have a camera but it was destroyed trying to film a very wet blackpowder hunt a few years ago. Go for it DS!
