Thanks guys. I will post pics as soon as I get out. I still have an unfired SKS that I bought a month ago that needs to go with me as well.
I'm a bit concerned at the effective range of a 3.5 inch barrel. With my full size .45 I could do head shots at 25 yards.

If its going to be a CC gun that wont matter a lot anyways. If something really goes down whats the odds of it being more than 10-15 feet?

That's one of the biggest considerations I had when I got the 3.5. Also, knowing that most likely would be the case IF it ever happened, I also went with the .45 instead of a 9, 10 or .40 just in case I had to take a 25 + foot shot. Even if I miss, the blast of a .45 out of a 3.5 would either blind em or make em deaf......or both. At a bare minmum, it would scare the sweet jumpin geronimo out of em. |
