.357 Blackhawk with the 6 inch barrel. It'll drive tacks at 25 yards.
Oh, and I traded my old .357 piece of crap for it plus $50. I got a STEAL!!! The gun looked brand new when I looked it over. NRA grade would be *excellent*. Not a ding on it and NO holster wear at all.
Also, the 180 gr. Winchester Partition Gold seem to perform the best out of this gun......which is PERFECT for poppin piglets.

I had one like it when I was about 18 or 19. I wish I had kept it. I ended up trading it and a Marlin 22 rifle for an aircompressorand a 78 Ford van with 32s on the back and it would boil em!

That's about how old I was when I got mine. I had it until I was 28 and then I traded it in for a Glock 17. Like you I wish I still had it now. That is a sweet shooting pistol, if you don't mind a single action.

we knife most of our hogs, but i carry a 45long colt in va. dragoon 255grain lead for the bad boys.
