I think I have checked about every box on my procesors slip for him to cut my deer meat this year and this is the first time I have ever had him make me up some ham steaks....do you prepare these the same way you would a nice ribeye or sirloin? Just marinate and grill?
if you have a good recipe for steaks I sure would appreciate them..thanks

i don't really care for them but my neighbor grills his...marinades for a couple to few days ...freaks me out just thinkin' bout that....they are pretty good though but nothing that i'd waste my meat on...i like mine fried or in a stew the best. ;D

If he didn't cut em too thick (ham steaks should be big, not thick) pan fry em in a little olive oil with some sliced onion. Serve em with eggs for breakfast.
I love a ham steak in the morning.

Marinate overnight and cook at low heat on the grill. Tastes great.
