I just picked up a new dutch oven,10 qt.Gonna get it seasoned up and break it in on a ten day hunt I'm going on in a week,can't wait.I'll probably burn the first biscuits I do in it ,but the boy's will eat em

I did something I've never tried before,I baked a pie in the DU.Man did it come out good.It was a saskatoon berry pie(poor mans blueberries).I used bbq briquettes to cover the lid and the wood burning stove for bottom heat.It took 45 minutes.Also did some buttermilk biscuits that came out real good.
