First off, before you can post any pics you need to get them from your computer to a hosting site. I used www.hunt101.com for this example but there are lots of other sites out there and these steps for the most part will work with them. To start you need to register at hunt101. Once you have done that you then you should see an upload link like this. Click it When the next screen appears click the browse button Now a box will appear allowing you to browse through files on your harddrive. Locate where your pictures are and double click the picture you want to upload. Now, after you double clicked the picture you wanted uploaded you should see this screen. which than you click the upload\submit button towards the bottom of the screen like so. If all goes correctly you should see this next. As soon as the file is uploaded, and you get the screen above wait a minute and you get redirected automatically to that picture you uploaded. When you see it, right click the picture, choose properties, and highlight the url it gives than right click the highlighted url and choose copy. Now, get back here after you copied that url and create a new topic, or post a reply. Within the box you are typing your topic or response type pasting the url that you copied where "URL" is. then click the add new topic button, or post your reply button and there you have it! You just posted your first picutre!

If you have photo software its fairly simple. When you bring the pic up in the software you can usually go to trim/size, then to resize it you click on the pic and you can push the corners in with your mouse. to get the white off where you made the photo portion smaller click on trim and play with it. it takes some getting used to but its easy after you get the hang of it.

That sucks. Maybe BGH can point you to some free pic editing software when he gets back on.

Hey Hf4, I suggest irfanview. Its a pic editing/viewing software and its free. I use it for all my "simple" editing: resizing, croping, and file changes. Go ahead and download it and I'll get you some directions with pictures on how to resize and crop your pics. It would also make another good post like this. Download it here: www.irfanview.com/

I want to know how you printed those screens in the post. I used to know how to do this.
Is it Alt-Print Screen or Shift-Print Screen? Or What? I can't remember.

For screenshots just hit Print-Screen and then open up any graphics program, open a new file and select paste.
